Milan tumbles to a 49-years negative record in the derby of anger

Milan fell behind Inter Milan 1-0 during the first half of their match at the “Giuseppe Meazza” stadium in the 21st round of the Italian League. According to the "Futbol Italia" website, Milan has conceded the first goal for the sixth game in a row, which hadn’t happened since 1974 with Cesare Maldini in charge. The Rossoneri are 1-0 down in the derby with Inter at the Stadio Meazza with Lautaro Martinez who gave the Nerazzurri the lead at minute 34 with a header at the near post. Stefano Pioli's side did not manage a shot on target until the 75th minute when Andre Onana denied Brahim Diaz. Stefano Pioli’s men conceded the first goal and it happen for the first time since March-April 1974 when Cesare Maldini was the Rossoneri coach. Milan’s tactics didn’t work quite well in the first half as Inter dominated; leaving their city rivals only 26% possession in the opening 45 minutes.
