Mount's Chelsea future is in doubt, Blues unwilling to treble his weekly wage!

Press reports revealed indicate that Mason Mount's future at Chelsea is in doubt, after the midfielder rejected a new contract that didn't match his wage demands, especially since the current contract expires in the summer of 2024. With Chelsea unwilling to treble Mount's £80,000 a week deal, talks regarding a new contract have broken down. With other senior players on much higher wages, Mount is reportedly unhappy with his current salary, and the disagreement casts doubt over his future, according to the Daily Mail.
According to the English newspaper "Daily Mail", negotiations between Chelsea and Mason Mount about signing a new contract have halted due to the dispute over the salary, as the player wants to get 3 times what he currently gets, which is 80 thousand pounds per week. The newspaper added that the 24-year-old player believes that the club's management does not adequately value him financially, in contrast to the new deals that receive higher salaries. The newspaper pointed out that Liverpool is awaiting Mount's future with Chelsea, in light of his desire to obtain his services. Since Todd Boyle took ownership of the London club, instead of Russian Roman Abramovich last May, he signed 17 new players at a cost of more than 600 million pounds.
