Qatar Al-Duhail Sports Club Management announced that they succeeded in concluding an agreement with the Portuguese international defender Rúben Afonso Borges Semedo coming from the Greek Club Olympiakos for three seasons, to replace Portuguese professional Ruben Semedo, who was injured. The club said on its official website indicated that the Argentine professional Fernandez has passed the medical examination he conducted at Aspetar Hospital, to become a great addition to the team during the coming period. Semedo who was born on 04 April 1994 is considered one of the distinguished defenders who succeeded in proving their capabilities with Olympiacos FC, FC Porto, and the Portuguese National Team.
