PSG’s Keylor Navas joins Nottingham Forest on a straight loan
The 36-year-old Costa Rican international player returns to the pitch as the No.1 goalkeeper for the Premier League club. Goalkeeper Navas joined the English Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the current season, coming from Paris Saint-Germain, France, in the last hours of the winter Mercato. The English club statement said: “Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the signing of Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain. The goalkeeper has signed on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season. The 36-year-old Costa Rican international player returns to the pitch as the No.1 goalkeeper for the Premier League club. “Paris Saint-Germain wishes Keylor much success for the rest of the season with Nottingham Forest,” the Ligue 1 leaders stated on their social media channels. The famed Costa Rican goalkeeper will be starting alongside The Red’s lineup on loan until the end of the 2022–2023 season without an option to buy. The statement continued: “Keylor Navas participated in 184 matches during his tenure with Deportivo Saprissa, Albacete, and Levante. Navas signed with European giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2014, and after playing 162 games during a five-year period at the Bernabeu, Navas moved to Paris Saint-Germain in September 2019.”
