Barcelona trying to sign Amrabat on loan before winter Mercato closes – Report

Press reports revealed that Barcelona FC is reportedly looking at signing Moroccan star and Italian Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat before the transfer window closes on Tuesday. The Spanish newspaper “Sport” stated that Barcelona will try to sign Amrabat during the next few hours from Fiorentina on loan until the end of the current season, with any absence of the purchase clause in the loan contract. Amrabat drew the attention of the major European clubs, after his distinguished performance with the Moroccan national team in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Morocco won fourth place. The midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs since the World Cup where he made it to the semi-finals of the tournament with Morocco. The Moroccan player's name was linked to the transfer to many European clubs, such as Liverpool, France, Paris Saint-Germain, and Spanish club Atletico Madrid. Amrabat played 17 matches in the Italian League during the current season, including 13 basics.
