AC Milan humbled 5-2 at home by lowly Sassuolo in Serie A

AC Milan was humbled 5-2 at home by lowly Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday, suffering a fourth defeat in five matches to pile pressure on manager Stefano Pioli. AC Milan suffered yet another big defeat as Sassuolo managed to find the back of the net five (!) times at San Siro. Several players were really poor and down below are the player ratings for the Rossoneri.  Goals from Gregoire Defrel and Davide Frattesi garnered a 2-0 lead for Sassuolo. Olivier Giroud pulled one back for Milan soon. Domenico Berardi entered the scoresheet to put the visitors 3-1 at half-time. In the 2nd half, Sassuolo struck twice to fully annihilate the hosts. Milan added a late second but to no avail. The Rossoneri failed to win the Calcio for the fourth consecutive match, after receiving a loss in two matches and a draw in the same. Milan's balance stopped at 38 points in fourth place in the Italian league ranking table, while Sassuolo's balance rose to 20 points in sixteenth place, and Napoli leads with 50 points.
