Press reports on Thursday reported that Leeds United is the latest Premier League side to approach Juventus about a possible deal for midfielder Weston McKennie during the current winter transfer period. “Futbol Italia” stated that negotiations are continuing between Leeds, which offers 28 million euros, and Juventus, which asks for 35 million euros for McKinney. The Italy football website added that the American player has already given his consent to join Leeds United in the current winter Mercato, but it remains only to reach an agreement with Juventus. Reports indicated that Leeds does not intend to raise its offer for McKinney amounting to 28 million euros, but they will try to negotiate with Juventus to reach an agreement, explaining that the rewards may lead the two clubs to finally settle the deal. The sports website added explained that there is a feeling that Weston McKinney's transfer to Leeds will be decided early next week.
