Real Madrid's Benzema equals Raul as the club's 10 all-time top scorers in La Liga

Real Madrid's French forward Karim Benzema leveled with Raul Gonzalez as the Spanish football club's second all-time top scorer late Thursday. Benzema advanced to fifth place in the list of the best scorers in the Spanish League of all time after he scored a goal against Athletic Bilbao. Karim Benzema scored the 228th goal of his La Liga career on Sunday night as Real Madrid won 2-0 at Athletic Bilbao. Benzema fired Real ahead midway through the first half with an excellent volley from 12 yards.
