Bellingham rejects a new deal on the table at Dortmund and sparks a bidding battle for his signature

Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham rejects (the Festivalia Lions) the Dortmund contract and sparks a five-club transfer battle. As per recent reports, Jude Bellingham is poised to reject a contract offer from Borussia Dortmund with Liverpool and Manchester City leading the chase for the England star. The Bundesliga outfit still wants to keep Bellingham, 19 years old, and will offer a bumper, double-his-money £180,000-weekly package to tempt him into committing to them long-term, which is equivalent to twice his current salary, which would make it the most expensive in the club's history. According to the British newspaper "The Sun", the player rejected the tempting renewal offer from the Dortmund administration, because of his insistence on moving to a giant team on the European Continent.
The newspaper pointed out that Dortmund will not stand in the way of Bellingham if he decides to leave the club, despite a 5-year renewal offer. Bellingham’s current contract with Dortmund runs until June 2025 and the German club reportedly values him at around £ 130 million. According to the most recent numbers, Jude Bellingham is currently valued at 110 million euros, an increase of 10 million prior to the start of the tournament.
