Carvajal was injured in the final, and Ancelotti forced to tinker

One more glitch for Real Madrid.  Spain's Dani Carvajal, Real Madrid's defender, joined the list of injured in the ranks of the Royal team, to increase the suffering of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti before the difficult encounter against Villarreal in the 16th round of the Spain King's Cup. The Spanish "Relevo" network reported that Real Madrid is in the middle of a terrible run of form at this point in time at the technical level, and fears are growing due to the injuries that have blown the team's players recently. As reported by Relevo, Dani Carvajal is almost ruled out against Villarreal. The right back has muscle discomfort and the goal is to recover for San Mames on Sunday. It is safe to say that Real Madrid will be nowhere near full strength when they take on Villarreal in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey. Dani Carvajal will most likely be excluded, provided that he recovers to be fully prepared to face Athletic Bilbao in “San Mames” next Sunday. Ancelotti's suffering continues after losing the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona recently, as they suffer from the absence of many key stars besides Carvajal, perhaps the most prominent of who is David Alaba.
