Al-Ahly Jeddah signs the Brazilian Amaral from the Chinese Wuhan

Press reports from Saudia Arabia revealed the Saudi club Al-Ahly Jeddah has signed a contract with the Brazilian Marcos Amaral from the Chinese Wuhan, who will lead the team’s attack in the first division. Al-Riyadiah newspaper quoted private sources as saying that “official contracts were signed with the player after he passed the medical”, noting that he “will arrive in Jeddah in the next 48 hours to join the team’s training”. According to the Saudi daily, the Brazilian Amaral, 28 years old, should start his career at Al-Ahly in the postponed game of the tenth round of the first division against Al-Jabalain. Brazilian Amaral started his career in the youth team of São Paulo and went through several Brazilian clubs, including Ituano and Red Bull Bragantino, before moving to the Asian continent, where he had spells with Chinese clubs Hebei China Fortune and Wuhan. Amaral has appeared in 46 matches for the Chinese city of Wuhan since the 2021-2022 season, scoring 39 goals and 6 assists.
