Mourinho will be Brazil's new head coach - Carlos Alberto claims

Former Porto midfielder Brazilian Carlos Alberto is confident that Roma coach Jose Mourinho will approach the Samba head manager. Rumors about José Mourinho’s future continue. Jose Mourinho will become the new Brazil manager and has already started searching for assistant coaches, according to one of his former players. The 59-year-old Giallorossi coach has been linked with taking over the Portuguese national team after the World Cup in Qatar, reportedly offering him the chance to coach both teams simultaneously. Mourinho has made clear his commitment to Roma, believing in the project at the Italian capital club, but rumors are still circulating about his possible candidacy for the vacant Brazilian role. In statements reported by the "Football Italia" network, Carlos Alberto revealed who he thinks the next Brazil coach will be and said: "I will say it directly. Mourinho may be the new coach of the Brazilian national team. He even offered me to be his assistant." Mourinho has linked with Roma until June 2024 and is still supported by the club's owners, the Friedkin family. Last season, he led the Giallorossi to their first-ever European title in the European Conference League, and now they are battling for a fourth-place finish this season. His presence on the bench at Roma helped convince players like Paulo Dybala and Georginho Wijnaldum to move to the Italian capital.
