Man United is close to signing Ronaldo’s replacement

Manchester United has been linked closely with moves to strengthen the offensive line during the current winter transfer market and looking to sign a new player, as they look to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo who recently joins Al-Nasr FC in Stadia Arabia. Cristiano Ronaldo has become officially a free agent after agreeing to terminate his Manchester United contract, with the Premier League club. The English Sky Sports network reported that Manchester United has become so close to signing Dutch striker Foote Vieghurst, from Besiktas on loan until the end of the current season, to strengthen the offensive level. Sky added that Vighurst's character is an important matter for Ten Hag in order to sign him, especially after his famous dispute with Argentine star Lionel Messi, after facing the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup and showing his strong personality. The 30-year-old Dutch striker has been playing with Besiktas on loan from the English club Burnley since the beginning of the current season, and he scored 9 goals with the Turkish team, in addition to 4 assists, during 18 matches in various competitions.
