Liverpool receives a painful blow from Van Dyck
Dutch defender, Virgil van Dyck, suffered a severe injury on Monday, during the encounter between his team Liverpool and his host Brentford (1-3) in the English Premier League. Van Dyck had left between the two halves of Brentford battle, after feeling injured, and his Cameroonian colleague Joel Matip replaced him. The English newspaper “The Athletic” explained that Van Dyck will miss several weeks from the Reds due to a muscle injury, without specifying how long the Dutch defender will be absent. Van Dyck joined a long list of injuries suffered by Liverpool during the current period, such as Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, and Arthur Milo.
