Pique tempted by a return to football after retirement

Press reports revealed that Gerard Pique, the former Barcelona defense star, is considering returning to the stadiums again after he announced his retirement from football last November. On November 3, Pique announced his final retirement and not completing the season with Barcelona due to his lack of continuous appearance under the leadership of coach Xavi Hernandez. The Spanish “Relevo” network revealed that Pique wants to return to playing football, but with a shirt of a team other than Barcelona, which is Andorra, which he has owned since 2018, and is currently playing in the second division in Spain. The report indicated that there is a problem with the strict regulations of the Spanish Clubs Association, initially related to the salary that the player will receive because Pique was getting 20 million euros last season or more.  explained that Pique may resort to raising the salary limit within the team so that he can then sign a contract worth 10 million euros per year, but even so, the La Liga regulations do not allow any club to increase the salary ceiling by more than 25%.
According to the report, Gerard Pique wants to return to the “grass” at FC Andorra, the club he patronizes and which operates in the second league in Spain.
