Napoli remains unbeaten in all competitions among clubs playing in the Big 5 European leagues

Paris Saint-Germain lost for the first time in any competition since March 20 last year when it was defeated, 3-1, at Lens on Sunday at the Boulert Delice stadium in the 17th round of the French League. The loss is the first for the French giants in the league 1 competition this season, to give up a distinguished number in favor of Italian Napoli. Napoli became the only team in the major European leagues (England, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain) that had not suffered any defeat in their national competition. PSG suffered from the absence of Lionel Messi, who was on leave after winning the 2022 World Cup, in addition to Neymar da Silva, who has been suspended in the last match against Strasbourg. The French league normally takes the holiday season off but with matches to make up following the World Cup, it played one round immediately after Christmas and another on Sunday and Monday. Despite the loss, PSG leads the French League standings table with 44 points, while Lance comes second in the French League standings table with 40 points.
