La Liga issue statement following Vinicius racism incident

The Spanish Football League La Liga have released a statement detailing steps that have been taken and steps that will be taken to ensure that Vinicius’ abusers will be brought to justice after the Real Madrid forward went to social media to lament the abuse he suffered during Madrid’s game against Real Valladolid. “La Liga”, responded to the racism that Brazilian star Vinicius Junior was subjected to in the face of his team Real Madrid yesterday against Valladolid, during the 2-0 victory in the Spanish League.
The Spanish Football League La Liga issued a statement condemning all forms of hate speech and saying it was following up on instances of racism at the match. The president of La Liga, Javier Tebas, responded to Vinícius with a strongly-worded tweet labelling his accusations as “unfair and untrue”.  "At La Liga, we have been fighting RACISM for years. It is very unfortunate, unfair and not true to say that," La Liga president Javier Tebas has tweeted. "La Liga does nothing against racism? Find out more. We are at your disposal so that ALTOGETHER, we can go in the same direction," he added. Then comes La Liga's official statement describing all the latest racial abuse incidents and how the league reacted to them. In some cases, racism was denounced, in some more serious measures were taken – like identifying the offender and punishing them. Still, it doesn't seem to be enough as crowds of people rooting for different teams keep attending La Liga matches and abusing players. He concluded: “Our goal is to completely eliminate violence in sport, and for this purpose we implement multiple measures to address such behavior.”
