Has Real Madrid buyback clause for Odegaard as he shines once again for Premier League Arsenal?

The Norwegian Martin Odegaard is shining in his great season with English Arsenal FC, after he joined at the beginning of the current season from Real Madrid in a deal worth 40 million euros. The Norwegian signed for the Gunners from Los Blancos in the summer of 2021 after a loan spell in the second of the 2020/21 campaign. He has since proved to be a crucial asset for Arsenal, who remain top of the Premier League table thanks to his efforts in the 4-2 against Brighton. However, should Madrid consider bringing him back to the Santiago Bernabeu, it could be more difficult for them to do so. Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the European giants do not have a buyback clause for Odegaard. The 24-year-old is said to be ‘in love’ with the current project at Arsenal, having amassed 12 goals contributions so far this season. He was on hand to score and assist against Brighton on New Year’s Eve as Mikel Arteta’s side went seven points clear at the top of the table. Odegaard netted Arsenal’s second of the game following Bukayo Saka’s opener inside two minutes.
Arsenal leads the English Premier League standings table this season with 43 points, 7 points ahead of its closest competitors, runner-up Manchester City, with 36 points.
