Romário said in statements to the Brazilian network "ge.globo": "Oh king, the whole world is looking for you and praying for you. I hope you get better! I kiss your heart." The differences between Romário and Pele go back more than 11 years, when Pele demanded the retirement of the former Barcelona striker, so that the latter came out and made a shocking statement to him, in which he said: “When Pele remains silent, he becomes a poet, but he says things of no value when he speaks. He was a king and the greatest.” A player in history, but he has to put his shoes in his mouth,” before apologizing for this statement, but the arguments between the two did not stop after that. Romario entered into wars of words with many prominent players over the course of his career, such as Zico, the former captain of the Brazilian national team, and Mario Zagallo, the former Brazilian coach.
