Is France destined to perform what only Italy and Brazil have done at the FIFA World Cup?

France  aspires to be the third team in the history of the World Cup, to succeed in winning the title twice in a row, when it faces its Argentine counterpart, on Sunday evening, at the “Lusail” stadium, in the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Argentine national team qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup final, after its great victory over its Croatian counterpart in the semi-finals, by three clean goals, and the French national team arrived at the expense of its Moroccan counterpart, by defeating it with a clean double.

During the last 21 completed editions  of World Cup, only two teams ever have managed to successfully defend the FIFA World Cup title. The Italians did it in 1938, defending the trophy, which they won in 1934. France has ensured that they keep their grasp on the trophy intact of course turned them into possibly the biggest title favorites at this point in time. Argentina is of course still there and so are dark horses Croatia and surprise package Morocco, but it's the French who most believe are destined to win the title in Qatar.

Argentina qualified for the FIFA World Qatar  final, after  overtakes its Croatian counterpart in the semi-finals 3-0, although  France qualified at the expense of  Morocco 2-0.

Italy was the first team to record this World Cup title in two consecutive times in 1934 and 1938, then the Brazilian  repeated this achievement in the 1958 edition.

Tonight, both teams are seeking to win the World Cup title for the third time in history, as the Tango won it in the 1974 and 1986 editions, while the Roosters won the title in 1998 and 2018.
