Spain's Ramos reacted after World Cup exit

Spain and France PSG defender, Sergio Ramos, said he is ever proud of his country's Men’s football national team despite being excluded from the World Cup against Morocco in Qatar. Ramos said through his Facebook account: "Today more than ever I am proud of our flag, proud of our country, and proud of our players. Spain isn't losing, Spain is learning. Spain falls, and stumbles, but gets up and goes on. We will come back and get stronger. Go, Spain!" The 36-year-old defender wasn't included in the bid of the Spanish national team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The veteran captain of the national team became the world champion in 2010, as well as the European champion in 2008 and 2012. Ramos has played 180 matches for the Spanish national team, scored 23 goals, and given eight assists. Spain failed to reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup for the third edition in a row since its crowning of the title in the 2010 edition in South Africa. Spain bid farewell to the 2014 World Cup from the group stage and was also eliminated from the round of 16 in the last edition of 2018 in Russia.
