Brazil's coach defends the (Dance of the Dove) celebrations!

Brazil coach Tite said his dance celebration during his side's emphatic 4-1 World Cup win over South Korea on Monday was an expression of pure joy at his side's bold attacking performance, and would help him bond with his young team. Even Tite did a jig with his players in front of his dugout after Richarlison scored a classy third for Brazil in the 30th minute. Brazil lit up the World Cup on Monday night when they dismantled South Korea 4-1 in their World Cup round of 16 ties, but it wasn’t just their football that became the talk of many. Richarlison’s celebration has been seen before and is derived from a funk song called dove dance (Dance of the Dove) by an artist called MC Faisca. "There are always spiteful people who will understand it as disrespect," the 61-year-old said afterward, defending the celebrations. "I told the players to hide me a little, I know about the visibility. "I didn't want it to have any other interpretation than the joy of the goal, the result, the performance, but not disrespect for the opponent or (South Korea coach) Paulo Bento, for whom I have a lot of respect."
First-half goals from Vinicius Jr, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paquetá did the damage as Tite’s side advanced to the quarter-finals to set up a quarter-final encounter with Croatia. The South Americans showed their dancing feet during their resounding 4-1 victory in the round of 16.
With every goal that hit the back of the South Korean goal, another wacky dance move ensued. Vinicius Jr’s goal was inspired by a song that is becoming popular on TikTok in Brazil called Birimbola Pagoda. The dance to the Os Quebradeiras song had already been performed by the in-form winger during the group stage, but to no avail as his goal against Switzerland was disallowed for offside.
The celebration of the second goal was an authentic choreography by those of Tite. After Neymar scored a penalty, Vinicius Jr, Paquetá, and Raphinha lined up to dance. The quartet danced to Oz Crias da Seleção – a song by Oz Crias and DJ LC da Roca.
And it has since been revealed that the song was initially not even going to be released before the World Cup. Unfortunately, West Ham midfielder Paquetá told Oz Crias that he intended to dance to that song after hearing it, which was evidenced by Neymar’s goal.
Brazil advanced 4-0 to South Korea before the end of the first half, with scores from Vinicius Junior, Richarlison, and Lucas Paqueta, in addition to a penalty kick by Neymar after the end of the 90 minutes and extra time, the tie was 1-1.
