Arsenal in the UAE for the Dubai Super Cup

The Arsenal FC arrived on Monday at Al-Maktoum Airport, in preparation for featuring in the Dubai Super Cup, which is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. This tournament will be invited at Al-Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club between the 8th and 16th of this December.

The tournament will be held with the participation of three major other international clubs: Liverpool FC (UK), AC Milan, Milan of Italy, and Lyon of France.

"The Gunners" delegation included 27 players, in addition to the administrative and technical staff. The team was received by the Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament, Ahmed Hashim Khoury, and the tournament director, Mohammed Al Awar.

Arsenal conducted its first training session under the Spanish Manager, Mikel Arteta, at Al-Nasr Club, which hosts the Gunners training camp throughout its stay in Dubai, as part of its preparations for its first match against Lyon on the 8th of this month. Arsenal will enter this tournament with Egyptian stars, Mohamed Al-Nanni and the Norwegian Martin Odegaard, and the rest of the players of the team.
