Ronaldo posts inspiring message prior to facing Switzerland

The Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo sent a strong motivational message to his teammates before the expected encounter, urging them to "roll up their sleeves ahead of a crucial game against Switzerland counterpart on Tuesday at Lusail stadium, in the round 16 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Ronaldo took to social media to post the inspiring message, saying:" For us and for ours! Today is for all the dreams we carry in each of us! Let's go with everything!".

The Portuguese national team reached the quarter-final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, after leading Group H, while the Swiss came runner-up in Group G.

Historically, the Swiss surpasses in the face-up games, as they met in 25 matches during all competitions. The Swiss national team won 11 matches, compared to winning 9 matches for the Portuguese and tie in 5 games.
