Qatar Foundation invites all football fans to watch the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF) invites all football fans to watch the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches and enjoy the activities organized by the Foundation. Qatari state-owned pay-TV network BeIN Sports will broadcast 22 matches on its free-to-air (FTA) channel across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region during the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The majority of the 64 Qatar 2022 matches will air on the BeIN Sports Max pay-TV channels in the 24 countries that make up the MENA region. In a statement on Tuesday, the Foundation said that 22 matches will be shown for free on a large screen in the Oxygen Park, adding that the live broadcast will start with four matches next Friday, November 25, and includes many matches, including the semi-finals and the final, during the next month.
The statement noted that among the matches that will be broadcast on the screen in Oxygen Park are the Qatar-Senegal match on Friday, November 25, the Qatar-Netherlands match on Tuesday, November 29, and many other matches throughout the mentioned period, except the days when the Education City Stadium hosts matches, pointing out that families will be able to enjoy a range of activities in addition to watching football matches. Outlets selling food and soft and fresh drinks will also be available, noting that attending these activities does not require obtaining a "Hayya" card.
In a related context, Qatar Foundation will organize a number of festivals and activities that meet the various aspirations and interests of the local, regional and international community, which will be held in Education City, as all these activities are designed to ensure easy access for all. This is part of the Foundation's campaign, under the theme "Football Is For All Of Us", as part of the activities that are held during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
BeIN has already kicked off its free coverage of the tournament’s opener between hosts Qatar and Ecuador on 20th November. “This is a celebration of a World Cup in and for the Arab world. We are thrilled to be able to offer key matches free-to-air to the region’s passionate football fans,” said Mohammed Al-Subaie, BeIN Sports’ MENA chief executive.
“When we first became the official broadcaster of the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022, our mission was to pursue every opportunity to open up access to the tournament to the multitude of fans in this region.
“We remain committed to making our content widely available and we know how significant and unifying this tournament is for us all.”
