Man United terminates Ronaldo's contract by mutual consent
Manchester United announced in an official statement that Ronaldo is a free agent after agreeing to terminate his Manchester United contract.
In a brief statement, Manchester United confirmed that The Old Trafford castle has mutually parted with Ronaldo.
“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future,” the statement read.
“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.”
Man United explained that the club will not comment further until this process has been concluded," the statement added.
