Ronaldo: Winning the World Cup] was a dream for me; I’m bulletproof

Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Portugal national team declared that he was “bulletproof and iron-clad” and stressed that he had no regrets about his explosive interview about Manchester United during a surprise media appearance in Qatar this morning.
"Winning the World Cup] was a dream for me; it's possible, but we'll see. I hope all energies are on our side." Said Ronaldo in the press conference. Ronaldo has endured a difficult season at Manchester United, yet he has arrived in Qatar in a confident mood, even if he does not believe he has anything to prove.
Ronaldo said during the press conference that his tense relationship with English club Manchester United does not mean distracting his focus from the Portugal national team.
He added, "We are in an important tournament, and for us winning the World Cup is a great dream that we hope to achieve, and there is nothing that makes me lose focus with the national team."
He continued: "Timing is always timing. It's easy on your part to look at how you choose the timing, but sometimes facts are written and sometimes lies are written."
Ronaldo went on to say: “Please do not ask the players about me, but rather ask them about the World Cup. I am bulletproof and wear iron clothes.” Ronaldo held a press conference on Monday, before the start of his team's training at Al-Shahaniya Stadium in Qatar, in preparation for the 2022 World Cup.
Portugal will open its campaign in the World Cup against Ghana next Thursday in Group H. Portugal will face Ghana, Uruguay, and the Korean Republic in the Group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.
