Ronaldo could potentially join Chelsea in January as his second Man United spell looks to be over

UK press reports predicted the potential candidates that Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo could sign in the upcoming January transfer window. The Portuguese international's journey at Man United appears to be coming to an end, after an attack-filled interview with journalist Piers Morgan, who attacked the club and coach Eric Ten Hag so fiercely, that many fans called for the veteran striker to be expelled from Old Trafford immediately.
The Evening Standard, the local free daily newspaper in London, indicated that Chelsea is now the most likely destination for Ronaldo and a January move may be in the near future.
The Portuguese have struggled to get time to play under Ten Hag, who favors more agile strikers who have a knack for pressing and suit his style of play. In all, Ronaldo has played 16 matches across competitions this season with United, scoring only three goals.
