Australia's 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup Qatar revealed

Socceroos Head Coach Graham Arnold has confirmed Australia's squad for the nation's forthcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, which Qatar will host from November 20 to December 18, in 8 different stadiums. Graham Arnold has made a point to give younger players opportunities in recent years and the side will be a mix of youth and experience in Qatar. The Australian national team is competing in the Qatar 2022 World Cup in Group D. The group consists of the defending world champions France, Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia. The top two teams will advance to the round of 16. Australia, Denmark, and France were all in Group C of the previous tournament. Group D of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will take place from 22 to 30 November 2022.
Teenage sensation Garang Kuol has made the cut with the young attacker set to join Newcastle United in January. Some other notable names in the squad include former Premier League goalkeeper Maty Ryan, Sunderland defender Bailey Wright, and Celtic midfielder Aaron Mooy.
Among the players missing, Mitch Langerak, Trent Sainsbury, Tom Rogic, and Adam Taggart are the biggest surprises.
