Atletico Madrid plans to renew Simeone's contract until 2026

 
Spanish press reports revealed on Sunday the desire of Atletico Madrid to renew the contract of Argentine coach Diego Simeone for two additional seasons to continue as coach of Roji Blancos until 2026. Atlético Madrid is preparing to extend Diego Simeone’s contract with the club, report AS. The Rojiblanco plan to extend Cholo’s contract for two more years. The current one expires in 2024. The newspaper pointed out that some members of the Atletico Madrid board have been studying for some time that he should change coach Simeone, but others confirm that there is no doubt that the Argentine is the best coach we can have.
