Inter Milan continues its awakening thrashes Sampdoria in Serie A
Inter Milan continued its awakening beating Sampdoria 3-0 at home, in a match where they were superior and despite the visitors' chances, they were unable to hit the target and left with a defeat on Saturday at "Giuseppe Meazza" stadium, in the 12th round extending their winning Serie A streak to four games.
Inter advanced with 2-0 in the first half via Stephan de Vrij in the 21st minute and Nicolo Parilla in the 44th minute. In the second half, Joaquin Correa added the third in the 73rd minute, abandoning (all) hope of Sampdoria.
This victory sent Simone Inzaghi’s side up to fifth place on 24 points, level with Atalanta and Lazio who play Empoli and Salernitana, respectively, on Sunday, while Sampdoria, remains 18th on six points from 12 games.
