Guardiola raises doubts about Haaland's injury update ahead of Leicester City clash

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has raised doubts about his Norwegian star Erling Haaland suffering a severe foot injury ahead of their trip to the King Power Stadium on Saturday during their clash with host Borussia Dortmund, which ended in a goalless draw, in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage. Halland has been replaced between the halves of Manchester City's vs. Dortmund, which sparked the city's fans, about the player's injury. Haaland has been unwell and is also dealing with a knock on his foot, Guardiola has confirmed. Defender Joao Cancelo has also been struggling with illness but it may well be the case that he recovers in time to face Leicester.
Guardiola spoke after the end of the match, about the Norwegian's injury, saying: "Three things made us accept to substitute him, I saw him very tired, and the second had a little fever, like Joao. And the third, he hit his feet. That's why he was not able to play in the half Second".
He added, "I don't know now the extent of the injury, the medical team was a little worried in the first half, but I saw him going well in the end." Haaland joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund last summer, in a deal worth € 60 million.
