Luka Modrić finds the net on his 450th Real Madrid appearance

Luka Modrić opened the scoring against Sevilla to celebrate his 450th Real Madrid appearance in style. The Croatian maestro was presented with a commemorative jersey by the president following the final whistle, and the evening also saw him notch up his 300th win for the club across LaLiga (208), Champions League (64), Copa del Rey (13), Club World Cup (6), Spanish Super Cup (5) and European Super Cup (4).
On 29 August 2012, Luka Modrić made his debut for our club in the perfect circumstances, getting his hands on the Spanish Super Cup with a win over Barcelona. The Croatian's first goal came at the Bernabéu against Zaragoza on matchday 10 of the 2012/13 LaLiga season. He has since gone on to hit 34, most of them coming from outside the box. His highest number of wins in a single campaign came in 2013/14, with 38.
Modric took a souvenir photo after the end of the match, with the club's president, Florentino Perez, with the club's shirt, which bears the number 450, which is the number of his matches with the club since his arrival in the summer of 2012 from Tottenham Hotspur.
Modric said on this occasion: "It is a very important number and I am very happy to reach it. I hope there will be more and I will see how far I can go. I am very happy and proud to be part of this club and to play many matches is very beautiful."
"There is no way to celebrate better than a goal. Vinnie Jr gave me a good ball and it is one of the easiest goals of my career. I am very happy with the win. We are on a good path, we continue to win and play well. There we have to continue. Relax. We have to keep going and win." He added.
