Real Madrid's president expresses a long-standing desire to take Neymar to the Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe is now not the same person that he was trying to sign for the Spanish, as Mbappe had become completely outside Royal’s eye-sighting.
Mbappe had refused to join Real Madrid in the last summer Mercato, despite reaching a final agreement with Real Madrid Board, before returning and renewing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
On the sidelines of the Ballon d'Or ceremony, Perez said about Mbappe: "I'm not tired, but I don't even read about the issue anymore. We have Vinicius and Rodrygo, two players who can win the Ballon d'Or."
He added: "Real Madrid made an offer of approximately 45 million euros to Santos, in order to sign Neymar, but he chose to join Barcelona."
