Inter Milan defeated Salernitana  to move up to the 7th place in the Serie A table

Inter Milan defeated Salernitana 2-0, during the match that brought the two teams together at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, in the tenth round of the Italian League. Inter Milan closed on the European spots with a comfortable 2-0 win over Salernitana in Serie A. Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella proved the difference as they made it back-to-back wins as they look to recover from an inauspicious start domestically in Italy.
Inter opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Lautaro, who lashed a shot from outside the box and the ball bounced in front of Salernitana keeper Luigi Sepe before finding the bottom corner. Lautaro Martinez, 25, scored the opening goal of the game in the 13th minute, while Nicolo Barella extended Inter's lead in the second half with a left footed strike. The "Opta" statistics network reported that Lautaro managed to score his 62nd goal during his appearance in the Italian League competitions, as he played 145 matches, thus equalizing the record of his compatriot Diego Milito, to become in the 13th place in the list of players who scored the most goals with Inter throughout the history Italian League.
Inter Milan raised its score at 18 points, occupying seventh place, while Salernitana's stuck at 10 points in 12th place.
