UK media react to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah hat-trick in Rangers thrashing

Thursday's national newspaper front pages in UK sport news chanted the hat-trick of the Egyptian star and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah, thrashing Glasgow Rangers 7-1, in the fourth round of the Champions’ League group stage for the current season. Liverpool claimed a memorable win over Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Mohamed Salah stole the headlines with a quickfire hat-trick, and he was supported by a brace from Roberto Firmino and goals from Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott. It was a maiden Champions League goal for the latter, who was forced to wait for VAR to award his strike.
Salah scored the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Champions League against Rangers, in 6 minutes and 12 seconds, after he participated in the meeting as a substitute for Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez in the 68th minute of the match.
The "Daily Mail" newspaper reported Salah hits against Rangers in six minutes. The Egyptian star returns and roars with joy after the hat-trick, he scored the fastest hat-trick in the history of the champions and puts Liverpool on the brink of the playoffs.
"The Mirror" also praised the Egyptian star, saying: "Salah the superstar, three goals in six minutes, Salah glows and scores the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Champions League."
“The Guardian” titled: “Salah writes history after stumbling at the beginning for the Reds, and celebrates the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Champions League.”
The "Telegraph" reported: "The exceptional Salah scores a hat-trick in six minutes as the fastest hat-trick in the history of the champions." Finally, the "Daily Star" commented: "A massacre that Firmino begins and then Salah ends with a hat-trick in six minutes. Salah scores an amazing hat-trick in six minutes and Liverpool is very happy in Ibrox."
