Juventus unlikely to part ways with Allegri , given deadline to improve results

Italian press reports confirmed that the Juventus club Board gave manager Massimiliano Allegri a new opportunity to improve results, before making any decision regarding his future with the team, in light of the decline in results, whether locally or in Europe. Juventus faces the specter of missing out on a spot in the UEFA, after occupying third place in its group with 3 points, just 5 points behind the top stage Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica, prior two rounds to the end. Juventus also occupies eighth place in the Italian league table standing with 13 points after 9 rounds.
The Italian newspaper, “La Gazzetta Dello Sport”, stated that Allegri had lost a large part of the confidence of the Juve Board officials, in light of the negative results achieved, and he would be required to improve the situation within a month, before making a final decision regarding his future.
The newspaper added that the Juventus Board will not rush to dismiss Allegri, as Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has confirmed Massimiliano Allegri will not be sacked following a 2-0 Champions League defeat to Maccabi Haifa. Officials in the cub are not in hurry before the international break; which will witness preparatory period to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar2022, next November.
