Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Chairman of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), quoted in the statement, “Qatar Sports Investments is proud to invest in world-leading sports companies and brands, enabling them to reach their full potential”.

SC Braga is an exemplary Portuguese institution – with a proud history, enormous ambition and a reputation for excellence, on and off the pitch”, says the current president of Paris Saint-Germain.
As an investor and partner, he adds, “we hope that the club innovates, grows, and develops even more – in the men's and women's teams, as well as in all the communities where it operates and the businesses it supports –, as SC Braga continues to tread an ambitious path”.

The club is currently third in the Primeira Liga and is competing in the Europa League with their next match against Belgium’s Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday.
Long-established in Portugal, the men's and women's teams compete in the first division of Portuguese football.
The men's team has been in the Portuguese league since 1975 and usually finishes its seasons in one of the top four, and is currently third in the league standings. The club's youth academy has also developed into one of the leading academies in Portuga
