Qatar purchases minority stake in Sporting Braga Club

Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has added SC Braga to its sports portfolio by acquiring a minority stake in the Portuguese Primeira Liga Sporting de Braga. QSI, the investment group behind several world-leading sports brands and businesses, has announced the signing of a share purchase agreement with Olivedesportos, regarding the acquisition by QSI of 21.67% of the share capital in Sporting Clube de Braga, one of the leading football clubs in Portugal.  
The process of the acquisition of Sporting Braga shares by QSI will be completed within the next few months under certain terms of completion.
