UEFA considering plans to replace the European Super Cup to 4 teams

UK sport press reports revealed that Europe’s organizing football body UEFA wants to organize a tournament with an invitee from a singular North American league, Major League Soccer which is supposed to change the format and system of the competition in the coming time. According to the UK “The Guardian” newspaper, the tournament would consist of four teams in a similar format to that of the Spanish Supercup currently. The invited teams would consist of the winners of the Champions League, Europa League, the Europa Conference League, and MLS. The source indicated that UEFA is considering plans to replace the European Supercup with a new four-team tournament and could invitee from a singular North American league, Major League Soccer, as they seek to increase their income.
