FC Barcelona on Wednesday confirmed that 18-year-old midfielder Spain Pablo Martin Gavi sensation has signed a new contract with Barca, extending his stay at Spotify Camp Nou until the summer of 2026.

The 18-year-old player's contract extension came in order to protect him from the temptations of the big European clubs that began to be interested in obtaining the services of the young player, such as Liverpool.
Gavi became a key element in the Barca squad during the recent period, which made the Catalan Board move quickly in order to secure the player’s contract with a huge penalty clause for fear of the temptations of clubs interested in including him.
