Lusail Super Cup Organizers held a fan-intro-workshop in Riyadh
The Organizing Committee of Lusail Super Cup held a workshop for the fans of the Saudi Al-Hilal Club and the Zamalek Club Association in Riyadh to explain all the procedures for the tournament between the Egyptian and Saudi football poles, hosted by Lusail Stadium, the largest stadiums for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid Ali Al-Mawlawi, Deputy Director General for Marketing, Communications, and Tournament Experience at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, Mr. Saeed Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of the Haya platform, Mr. Jassim Al-Jassem, Chief Operations Officer at the Organizing Committee, and a group of officials from the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, and the Saudi Ministry of Sports and Culture , the Saudi Football Association, Al Hilal Club, and in the presence of the ambassadors of Qatar’s legacy, Mubarak Mustafa, Ahmed Khalil, and Muhammad Saadoun Al Kuwari, and the meeting was moderated by Mr. Muhammad Al-Khanji, local and regional media expert in the organizing committee. Mr. Rashid Al-Khater, Director of Facilities Operations at the Organizing Committee, gave a quick overview of the Lusail World Cup Stadium, which can accommodate 80,000 spectators, how to enter the stadium and information on a number of procedures related to the fans. Engineer Thani Al-Zaraa, Director of the Transportation Operations Department at the Organizing Committee, explained the ways to reach the stadium via the metro on the red line, from Doha International Airports and Hamad International Airport, and via shuttle buses, where a center has been allocated for them next to Qatar Club and in the West Bay area to transport fans on the day of the match.
Saeed Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of the Haya platform, welcomed the fans of Al-Hilal Club and the fans of Zamalek Club in Qatar to attend the Super Lusail Cup. The competent authority will facilitate visa procedures for those coming from abroad.
Al-Kuwari explained the mechanism for obtaining the Haya card, starting with purchasing match tickets through the FIFA website, and then registering for a Haya card through the website or smart phone application using the application number, a recent photo, and a passport valid for 6 months, after which he received an email to confirm the approval of the card. He pointed out that the validity of the card will be from 6 to 11 September 2022.
