Man United moves to bring back Dutch striker Memphis Depay to Old Trafford

Press reports revealed that Manchester United is considering a move to bring back Dutch striker Memphis Depay to the club during the current summer transfer window. According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, Manchester United is considering making an offer to Barcelona for Depay, in light of the club’s need for a new striker. The newspaper added that United would like to sign a new striker, especially since Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is seeking to leave the club. The newspaper indicated that Man United is willing to pay 10 million euros in order to return Depay to Old Trafford again. Depay previously wore the Manchester United shirt and this happened for two years, as he played with the Devils between the summer of 2015 and left in January 2017 to Olympique Lyon for 16 million after it came for 34 million euros.
The winger has agreed to leave Barcelona and looked set to join Juventus but United is now reportedly considering a €10m offer to add the 28-year-old to their ranks, according to Marca, giving him a second chance at Old Trafford after one season with the club in 2015-16.
