It took him just 46 seconds to open the scoring against Real Sociedad. Lewandowski opened his scoring record with the Catalan team in the Spanish League during the current summer transfer period from Bayern Munich. The Polish star (46 seconds) scored the fastest Barcelona goal in the Spanish League since Andres Iniesta's goal against Recreativo in 2009 after 43 seconds. Lewandowski's goal is Barca's fastest away goal in La Liga since Saviola's goal against Valladolid in 2004 after just 30 seconds. Lewandowski's goal against Real Sociedad is also the fastest goal of the Polish striker in the German and Spanish leagues. Lewandowski's goal became the fastest goal of the 2022-2023 season after he managed to reach the opponent's net after only 46 seconds.
