Sanchez agrees on a deal to rip up his contract at Inter, set to join Marseille

Press reports revealed that Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed to terminate his contract with Inter Milan by mutual consent and is now expected to sign for Marseille. The Nerazzurri had wanted to change the 33-year-old Chilean striker this summer, as the Chilean international was earning circa €7m per season after joining for free from Manchester United in September 2020, having before that been on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
Sanchez has never particularly sparkled in Giuseppe Meazza during his time in the Lombardy capital, scoring 16 goals in 79 Serie A matches. According to Calciomercato.com, Sanchez and his agent, Fernando Velesevich recently agreed on a termination deal with Inter, and he will receive compensation of around 7 million euros.
Over the next week, the Chilean striker will solve a tax issue related to his time in Italy, which will see the Nerazzurri avoid losing more money due to the growth decree.
Once this issue is resolved, Sanchez will fly to France to finalize his move to Olympique de Marseille, where he will receive a two-year contract and is said to be worth less than €3 million per season.
