Barcelona escaped New York  2-0 at the end of their USA tour

 
Barcelona finished their 2022 United States tour and remains unbeaten in preseason thanks to a 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on early Sunday. The Blaugrana dominated the entire match and could have easily scored six or seven on another night, but had to settle for a two-goal victory and continue the good run in the preparations for the new campaign. Barcelona's two goals were scored by Frenchman Othman Dembele and Dutchman Memphis Depay in the 40th and 87th minutes of the match, which witnessed an expulsion from the New York Red Bulls, after the referee issued the red card in the face of Daniel Dillman in the 82nd minute. The Catalan played 4 games in its American camp, beating Inter Miami with a clean six, it's traditional rival Real Madrid 1-0, and finally over New York Red Bulls with a clean double, and tied with Juventus 2-2.
Barcelona's opening fixture at home to Rayo Vallecano will be on Saturday 13 August.
