Oliver Kahn: “Ronaldo doesn't fit Bayern's philosophy”

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo appears willing to exit Old Trafford as the player wants to play in the Champions League this summer. But Ronaldo will not be Bayern Munich, according to Oliver Kahn, as the club's CEO revealed that Cristiano does not fit their philosophy at the present time.
"We discussed this topic -- otherwise we wouldn't be doing our job properly," Kahn told German daily Bild. "Personally, I think Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest-ever footballers."But we came to the conclusion that, despite the esteem that we hold him in, he wouldn't have fitted our philosophy at the moment." The 37-year-old Ronaldo only has one year left on his contract with United but is reportedly desperate to play in the Champions League.
Bayern Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn said on Wednesday that making a move for Cristiano Ronaldo in the transfer market would not fit the club's "philosophy".
Manchester United striker Ronaldo reportedly wants to leave the club he rejoined last year, although new Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag has insisted the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is not for sale.
Ronaldo arrived back at Old Trafford on Tuesday ahead of talks with Ten Hag over his future. But Europe's top clubs, including Bayern, have not been scrapping for the Portuguese star's signature.
Cristiano is determined to win the sixth Champions League and equalize the legend Paco Gento, and United cannot give him a chance to do so, as they finished sixth in the English Premier League last season and will compete in the European League in 2022/23, and Cristiano has never competed in that competition nor He intends to do so more.
Cristiano isn't energetic as he used to be, but he remains a productive striker, contributing 24 goals in all competitions to United's sub-par side last season, scoring 18 in the Premier League, and of course he will score goals wherever he goes.
