Will Ronaldo could return to Serie A on loan from Man United?

The idea of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Serie A for Juventus, Napoli, Inter, or Milan is not out of the question, as his agent asks Manchester United to extend his contract and let him leave on loan to play the Champions League. The 37-year-old flew back to Manchester today and visited the Old Trafford training ground along with agent Jorge Mendes. He had been training by himself abroad, waiting for Manchester United to sell him.
The meeting reportedly did not go well, with the Premier League side refusing to let Ronaldo leave on a permanent basis. According to Spanish sources, Jorge Mendes suggested a counter-proposal, letting CR7 extend his contract until June 2024 so that he can be sent out on loan this season to a club in the Champions League.
Manchester United only qualified for the Europa League after a dismal Premier League campaign. The Serie A clubs in the Champions League this season are Milan, Inter, Napoli, and Ronaldo’s old haunt Juventus.
He was with Bianconeri from 2018 to 2021, scoring 101 goals in 134 competitive appearances for the club.
