Suarez is close to partnering with Bale in the American League destination

The global network "ESPN" revealed that Uruguayan star Luis Suarez is close to playing in the American League during the coming period, after the expiration of his contract with his former club, Atletico Madrid. Accordingly, the global network "ESPN" tossed out some possible MLS destinations for the 35-year-old striker, who’s expressed a desire to join a team capable of making an Audi MLS Cup Playoffs run to potentially stay playing through November, when La Celeste and their all-time leading scorer head to the Middle East for Group H play. ESPN added that the Uruguayan star Suarez is very close to signing with Los Angeles, which already has signed Welsh Gareth Bale and Italian Giorgio Chiellini. The newspaper pointed out that the veteran Uruguayan star is looking to play more minutes during the coming period, in order to be ready for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with his country. Several press reports had indicated the possibility of Suarez returning to his first club, Nacional, Uruguay, after the latter's officials entered into negotiations with the player to discuss the possibility of his return to the team in a free transfer deal.
Suarez spent the last two seasons with Atletico Madrid and succeeded in winning the Spanish League title with the club.
