Juventus makes a surprise offer for Liverpool's Forward Firmino

According to the "Toto Juventus" network in Italy, Serie A juggernauts Juventus are considering a move for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino after speculation on whether he will be offered a new contract at Anfield, as the Old Lady made an offer worth 23 million euros for the Brazilian striker.
Firmino has one year left on his Liverpool contract, with no signs of an extension yet, and the Reds may be tempted to dump their star striker this summer for a transfer fee rather than see him leave for free next summer.
It was reported that Juventus will make an improved offer to Liverpool for veteran Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino. Last season, Firmino had expressed his desire to stay at Anfield and said at the time: "I am very happy here," he said. "I am grateful to God that I am here playing for a great club with great players, winning trophies, and I want to stay here. I want to be here. I'm happy here, so that's all that I can say."
The Reds signed Darwin Nunez from Benfica for 75 million euros, and Firmino appears to be his reserve in the new season. Firmino was struggling with injury last season, with the 30-year-old scoring just 11 goals and making five assists in 35 appearances across competitions.
